Into the Woods
Into the Woods tells the tale of the curse placed upon the baker and his wife that prevents them from having a child, and their journey into the woods to break the witch's spell. It was written by James Lapine and features music by Stephen Sondheim. Bernadette Peters played the witch in the original Broadway production in 1987. It was most recently revived in 2002.

Chicago
Chicago is the story of two women, one who is a night club singer and the other who is an aspiring performer, who both land themselves in jail. The musical was created by John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Bob Fosse. Chita Rivera and Gwen Verdon starred in the original Broadway production in 1975. It is currently on Broadway.

Mamma Mia!
Mamma Mia! is a jukebox musical based on the music of ABBA and tells of a daughter who invites the three men she think could be her father to her wedding. The script was written by Catherine Johnson. Louise Pitre and Tina Maddigan starred in the original Broadway production in 2001. It ran on Broadway for 14 years.
Fiddler on the Roof
Fiddler on the Roof is about how life among the people of the Jewish village of Anatevka is "as shaky as a fiddler on the roof". The script was written by Joseph Stein with music by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick. Chaim Topol starred as Tevye in the original Broadway production in 1964. The most recent revival was in 2015 and starred Danny Berstein as Tevye.
Wicked
Wicked tells "the untold story of the witches of Oz", in other words it tells the story of the friendship between Galinda and Elphaba, the wicked witch of the west. The script was written by Winnie Holzman with music by Stephen Scwartz. The original Broadway production in 2003 starred Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth. It is currently running on Broadway.
Rent
Rent is a rock musical that captures the year of the lives of friends living in New York's Lower East Side at the end of the millenium. The show was created by Jonathan Larson and is loosely based on the opera La Bohème. The original Broadway cast in 1994 included Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs. It has not been revived on Broadway.

The King and I
The King and I tells the story of a British schoolteacher who is brought to Siam, with her son, to tutor the king's children. The show was created by Rodgers and Hammerstein. The original Broadway production in 1951 starred Gertrude Lawrence and Yul Brynner. The most recent Broadway revival in 2015 starred Kelli O'Hara and Ken Wantanabe.

Evita
Evita tells the story of the life of Eva Perón, the wife of Argentine president Juan Perón. The show was created by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. The original Broadway cast in 1978 included Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin. The most recent Broadway revival in 2012 included Elena Roger and Michael Cerveris.
